Position Summary: The Refrigeration Technician with Electrician Competency is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of both refrigeration and electrical systems in our seafood processing and storage facilities. This dual-role position requires strong technical skills in both refrigeration and electrical work, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
l Installation: Install new refrigeration systems, electrical wiring, and components, ensuring they meet operational standards and manufacturer specifications.
l Maintenance: Perform regular preventive maintenance on refrigeration units and electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
l Repairs: Diagnose and repair malfunctions in refrigeration systems and electrical components, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, wiring, and circuit breakers.
l Monitoring: Monitor and adjust refrigeration and electrical systems to ensure temperature control, energy efficiency, and compliance with electrical codes.
l Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot issues in refrigeration and electrical systems using diagnostic tools and techniques.
l Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance, repairs, and installations. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
l Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Respond to and resolve any safety concerns promptly.
l Training: Assist in training other staff on the proper use and maintenance of refrigeration and electrical equipment.
l Emergency Response: Be available for on-call emergency repairs as needed.
Qualifications:
l High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certification in refrigeration technology and electrical work is preferred.
l Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a refrigeration technician with significant experience in electrical work, preferably in a food processing environment.
l Strong knowledge of refrigeration and electrical systems and components.
l Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
l Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment for both refrigeration and electrical troubleshooting.
l Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
l Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a team.
l Willing to work in Parañaque City
l Willing to do shifting schedule
l Monday to Saturday working schedule
